Whatever happened to Bookman from Good Times?

Whatever happened to Bookman from the 1970s television show Good Times...Nathan Bookman was played by Johnny Brown...interestingly Brown was considered to play the role of Lamont in Sanford and Son, but was unavailable to do so because of his prior commitment to Laugh-In..

On Good Times, Bookman was the building superintendent who, at first, hated the Evans family, but eventually became their friend...he was often called Boogerman or just plain Booger...below are some of the insults that Bookman took...

Bookman's showing new tennants around: Come on, let me show you the laundry room. The way I keep that place, it should be in a magazine!
J.J: Yeah! Better slums and garbage!

Bookman: Last night I didn't get any sleep. I tossed and turned all night!
Willona: Yeah. I know. The whole building was rumblin'.

Below is a 1:38 clip of Bookman doing his Christmas dance...
